Hello From Tasmania

I’m on a flying trip to beautiful Hobart, a special city for me. My husband and I lived here from 1996-1999, and it was here I wrote my first book, posting the manuscript from the North Hobart Post Office to Dublin, to enter a Write a Bestseller competition being run by an Irish publisher. I came runner-up, the romantic comedy A Taste for It being published in 2000, marking the start of my writing career. I love visiting here, catching up with many dear friends, meeting great booksellers and walking for kilometres too, relishing the history, waterfront, nature and architecture, nestled under the majestic kunanyi/Mount Wellington.
