Happy Love Your Bookshop Day

A perfect day to support your local bookshop, and thank our wonderful booksellers who have kept us all reading this past year, and are still doing all they can to bring books and readers together.

I’d like to give a special thanks to Mike and Becky of Shakespeare’s Bookshop here in Adelaide, booksellers at the first two events of my SA in-person tour, including at the Cove Centre in Hallett Cove last night. Mike is not just a bookseller, but also a picture book author – his new book Bad Herbert, illustrated by Heidi Cooper Smith, is out now.

My warmest thanks also to Jayne and Tracey of Marion Libraries for hosting me, and to all the lovely readers (and four of my cousins ) who came along too. It was so great to meet and talk to you all.
