George Joins Book Week

Earlier this year I was delighted to receive these photos of 9-year-old booklover Hannah in Melbourne, reading my first children’s book Marcie Gill and the Caravan Park Cat to her cat Maggie.

And this week, the gorgeous news that Hannah dressed up for national Book Week as a cat, in honour of Marcie’s cat George! Thanks so much, Hannah, you’ve made my day! (Your little sister is a terrific Hermione from Harry Potter too.)

And a big Hello to Ruby the Caravan Park Cat! My warmest thanks to 9-year-old Ruby from Melbourne for also dressing up as George the cat for Children’s Book Week in Australia. Your costume is gorgeous/George-ous, Ruby!
