Farewell Mount Gambier, Hello Adelaide

Thank you, Mount Gambier! Such a fun event here at the Riddoch Cultural Centre last night, hosted by the lovely Kristi of Mount Gambier Library and her team. (We worked out it was the 5th or even the 6th event we’ve done together over recent years.)

All feels very different in ways this year, with audience numbers capped due to Covid19 restrictions, but it’s still so great to be able to travel and meet so many readers and book lovers here in SA. My warmest thanks to everyone who came along last night, despite the lashing rain, and special thanks to Annie, Lachlan, Leanne and Kristen of Collins Booksellers for their great support once again (and warm wishes to Cindy of Collins, who couldn’t join us.)

This morning it’s a 5 hour road trip back to Adelaide with my nephew/marvellous tour assistant Dominic and our driver Shane. Then tomorrow off to Murray Bridge Library at lunchtime and to my home town of Clare tomorrow night. See you all soon!
