It was such a pleasure to talk to Kevin Hillier for AUTHORISED, his new podcast about writing & writers. In our 20 minute conversation, we discussed my research for The Godmothers; fiction versus nonfiction writing; my mum the librarian (who used to lock herself in the car to read); how long it took me to become a full-time author; writing my first children’s book and also the people and stories behind the dedication & acknowledgments for The Godmothers.
