Australia’s Book Industry Awards

It was great to be (virtually) part of last night’s Australian Book Industry Awards, with The Godmothers nominated for General Fiction Book of the Year, and also popping up in host Casey Bennetto’s brilliant book-themed opening number. Congratulations to Pip Williams who won in my category with her acclaimed The Dictionary of Lost Words, and to all the other winners and nominees. And three mighty cheers and many congratulations to my wonderful publisher Ali Watts and everyone at Penguin Random House for winning the prestigious Publisher of the Year award.
