Australian Book Tour Photo Album Part Three: Clare and Kadina
Thanks so much to everyone who came to my hometown event in the Clare Town Hall last night and to my morning tea in Kadina today. I loved meeting and talking to so many of you. It was so great too to meet up again with the Mayor of Clare, Allan Aughey OAM; my dear friend Margie Arnold of Meg’s Bookshop, and also my writer friend Tricia Stringer.
Warmest thanks to everyone involved in the organising of both events, especially Heather Lymburn, Val Tilbrook, Sue Wurst, Charles, Coralie Jones, Lol Hill and all the Friends of the Clare Library; and in Kadina, Lorraine and all her great team fundraising for the Women and Children’s Hospital.
I’ve also just said farewell to my brilliant Penguin Random House publicist Chloe Davies, who is now on her way back to Sydney – thank you Chloe for being such great company and for such good driving too, through country South Australia’s winter rains and wild winds (with just the occasional blue sky too…)
Tomorrow I’ll be at Burnside Library at lunchtime and then the State Library in Adelaide in the evening, and then in WA on Thursday and Friday, at Armadale, Perth and Joondalup. All the details are on the Events page of my website. If you’re in the area, please do come and say hello!
