A Well-Travelled Bag
Have bag, will travel!
Last year, Bronwyn Chalke of the Hobart Bookshop in Tasmania not only gave me (and my Marcie Gill books) a warm welcome, she also gave me one of her eyecatching Hobart Bookshop bags. I promised to take it on a sightseeing tour of Dublin in all seasons, and here is the photo gallery as proof. Big thanks to Bronwyn and also to my great friend and travelling-bag photo-accomplice, 13-year-old Ethan.
P.S. We took the bag to the National Library, the Art Gallery (and George Bernard Shaw statue), Dublinia Viking Museum, Temple Bar, the Ha’penny Bridge and River Liffey, Epic emigration museum, Grand Canal Dock, Grafton Street (the Phil Lynott statue), the Bord Gais Energy Theatre, Collins Barracks Museum of Decorative History and Dublin’s beautiful Custom House building.
