Beautiful Ballarat

24 hours in beautiful Ballarat – a bookshop event one day, panning for gold the next. My big thanks to Tracey, Lyle, Renee, Anna, Helen and Ruby of Collins Booksellers Ballarat on Lydiard for hosting my talk and signings of Marcie Gill and the Caravan Park Cat and The Godmothers, and warmest thanks to everyone who came along – it was so lovely to meet and talk to you. The next morning, my niece Ruby and I had a very fun 2 hours in the Sovereign Hill open air gold rush museum – alas, we didn’t find any gold, but we did get lots of their famous raspberry drops.
