Farewell to the beautiful town of Castlemaine after our 5 months housesitting there, such a special time. I’m so glad I got the last-minute chance to spend an afternoon at Buda Historic Home & Garden, the home and garden of two generations of the artistic Leviny family for almost 120 years. I last visited it 10 years ago while I was in Castlemaine researching my novel At Home with the Templetons, which is set in a (fictional) historic house in the Castlemaine area. If you are in the area I heartily recommend a visit!
