Annaghmakerrig Retreat

My warmest thanks to all of you who have been in touch here and by email to ask if I have a new book on the way. I’m happy to say I’ve been locked away for many months writing it, and it is coming together (I hope). I’ll keep you all posted once it’s finished and I have details of publication dates etc. My writing was helped this week by 3 glorious days at the Tyrone Guthrie Centre At Annaghmakerrig in Co Monaghan here in Ireland. It’s a wonderful retreat for writers, poets, playwrights, screenwriters, artists and photographers to concentrate on their work in a beautiful setting, overlooking a lake and surrounded by woods. I wrote and read and walked and wrote some more – and also took these photos. I hope you enjoy them.
